The order management system, built on top of a service oriented architecture, integrates a large number of backend systems with a sophisticated off-the-shelf order entry system, using an infrastructure built with TIBCO BusinessWorks and BusinessWorksWorkflow.

Swisscom Mobile is now retaining market leadership by provisioning new products in a fraction of the time it required before, while at the same time significantly cutting the staff required to provision and maintain the products.

Furthermore the adoption of a TIBCO-enabled service-oriented architecture (SOA) enables Swisscom Mobile to implement customer selfcare services faster and more reliabley than any other carrier in Switzerland.
