The RV Tool Collection are a series of programs that improve and facilitate the work with the messaging middleware Tibco Rendezvous^TM. The programs have graphical user interfaces that allow direct message editing, message detecting and recording as well as automatic message reply and forwarding. Through RV Tool Collection you will build customized Rendezvous^TM Publisher and Subscriber programs within seconds. You may also create fully functional Rendezvous^TM Application Simulator programs extremely useful in a compex EAI environment for simulating a software module not yet availalbe.

RV Application Simulators are able to react on incoming messages by replying and/or forwarding any number of messages. Individual and structure independent data mapping from the incoming to the outgoing messages add inestimated benefit to that feature.

Creating RV Publisher, RV Subscriber and RV Application Simulator programs through RV Tool Collection does not require any knowledge of the Tibco RendezvousTM program library nor a programming language at all. It's as easy as to work with your preferred text editing program! Generated RV programs however are not supposed to be used in a productive environment but will help build complex systems and greatly improve and speed up the development and test process within your company. The left shown RV Program Launcher is the central control window that lets you start all other programs of the RV Tool Collection through simple mouse click.

If a RV Publisher, RV Subscriber or a RV Application Simulator is launched, their Console Window is first displayed and the program is ready to be started with its default configuration. Simply click on the dedicated button and you will be able to easily configure the program to fit your needs. The program can then be started and be observed in its Console Window. The console is a shell like window where program messages appear together with a timestamp.

All programs of the RV Tool Collection are based on Java^TM Swing. This enables them to run on multiple platforms.
