Experience has taught us that test automation is an essential core element of a DevOps strategy. Because we can only work powerfully and efficiently from a secure footing.
Test Pyramid
With a shift-left approach, we want to perform as many tests as possible at the lower test levels such as unit and component testing. The lower in the test pyramid errors are detected, the smaller the costs incurred.
The costs for test creation and maintenance are greater at the higher test levels. For this reason, often the tests at the highest level of end-2-end testing are only manually executed and recorded.
Our philosophy is: automated tests offer sustainable security; the higher effort pays off in the long term perspective. We support you in the cost-benefit analysis and create worthwhile automated E2E tests with tools such as Cypress and Selenium.
Continuous Build and Deployment
Some of our employees have years of experience with CI/CD and test automation from customer projects. In order to keep learning, our people also work in centeractive in-house projects. We have migrated our in-house software development for the tool Retrospective Log Analyzer from on-premise Jenkins builds to Azure DevOps build pipelines and the associated analysis tool koia.io is deployed worldwide via Azure CDN within seconds.
